Now in 1000 capacity, new, state of the art venue at Leeds University - The Mutate room (2nd floor, Pulse) playing EBM/Industrial//Hard Dance. (http://www.mutate.infoThe main venue, Stylus, plays 80's cheese, hard rock, goth rock, and modern rock offerings (http://www.thewendyhouse.org/aboutus.htm" ) The music policy is pretty straight-forward. It's not really a Goth night. We never intended it to be just that (though it attracts a predominantly Goth crowd). On Floor 1 (stylus) we play out the best Alternative music from the 80's onwards, all with a dark and occasionally ironic slant on it. We run a very fun night to be at, with a huge friendly crowd and a massive party atmosphere" note: The LUU building contains several bars/pubs that are great for pre-drinks. | |
