Great page- I often browse through here whilst at work. I've been trying to give up goth for ages (bought blue jeans but then found they match my Rosetta Stone 'Fruit of the Gloom' T-shirt). I suppose I'm a dedicated net.perkygoff. Some more stuff on CURRENT UK bands would be nice- Rosetta, Children On Stun, Incubus Succubus etc. I can't stand it when people think that goth starts and ends with the Sisters - after all, they've released bugger all for ages. Cheers.

Swing magazine caught my attention with a cover article on The Masquerade, where a hapless reporter was drawn into the world of the Vampire LARP game. This site was listed along with the Storyteller mailing list and other stuff. I wonder what the _average_ Swing magazine reader thinks of this particular path of twisty passages? :)

This is a gorgeous site. I've only been on the WWW for a week now, but I've poked around quite a bit in that time, and this is one of the best I've seen in both form and function. I'm dying to figure out how to put background images on home pages so I can spruce up my fledgeling net paper (The Guelph Peak, already an established student printed magazine). While I'm not a true artist in any sense, I take great joy in creating visual images and graphics with Photoshop and KPT and I'd love to try my hand at this. Any help would be really appreciated. The content's great, too; it's reminded me of all I gave up when I temporarily droppped out of the whole goth thing a year ago. Perhaps I'll reconsider.

I must say, nice work with the images. As a vet of photshop/Mac-Induced art, it's always nice to see someone do work that is actually INTERESTING with the tools rather than going on... "Oooooo, Lookie! FRACTALS!"

Keep it up

Dude, I just saw Siouxsies's show last Fri., Apr. 21, best fuckin' show I've seen in a long time. I saw her last time she came through, in Feb. of '92 after Lollapalooza, she was even better this time. One of the rock critics for the Chicago Sun-Times totally trashed the show talking about how she sang in a horrible, flat, monotone! Hello! That stupid motherfucker even said that Spiritualized, who opened, were good! They sucked camel balls! But who cares, I got to touch her hand! I feel like such a maniacal fan. Like I'm going to be on the nest MTV special or something. Let me know about any cool shit out there. JR-Lindsey@bgu.edu
