from what I actually was able to load on my pathetic aol-run Mac, your site looks pretty interesting, I'm sure it's much better viewed thru netscape...are you going to update any of the info for the spring? you may want to include the "black & blue ball" that was here in NYC last weekend, or maybe a preview of the "fetish marti gras" next weekend for all of the fetish fans...and WHAT HAPPENED to the "scene" here in NYC? don't mean to complain, but c'mon...thanks for spending your hard-earned money, and lots of time, to support a lifestyle which seems dangerously close to dying here.

While I'm here, do you happen to know the name of a German group who sleep in coffins, and generally live their lives as dead people? I'm doing some research and I just can't seem to find out their their name. If you don't know, do you know anyone/where I can ask?

If you dissapprove or approve leave me a message in your own entry and when I skim over the entries for the month I will read it and respond. This is my way of getting around chat rooms. Thank you for the nice pictures. I appreciated seeing Jamie Hewlitt's Death in there, too. Death is beautiful is she not? I think you could have done a lot better with your Morpheus images... but anyway ... OH YEAh... nothing is more Gothic than Gary Oldman as Dracula and Beautiful Winona as Mina. I wish I could send you pictures from the Bram Stoker's Dracula comic book adaptation, drawn wonderfully by Mike Mignola. Take a look at them if you find them. -- -- LOVE OPAL

Grausam war es zu mir
Grausam auf fürchterliche Weise
Ewig währt es, ein Ende nicht in Sicht
Tausend Jahre nun schon
Tausend Jahre vertan
Vergeben an einen Bauern
An einen, dessen Leben nur ein dünnes Buch füllen würde
Währte es nicht ewig
Dieses Leben nach hundert Jahren sinnlos wurde
Nun währt es schon tausend Jahre
Jahre voll Trauer
Jahre voll Schmerz
Tot ist sie, meine Geliebte
Dahingerafft von der Pest
Schrecklich war es anzusehen
Rohes Fleisch, offene Wunden

Thank you Thank you thank you. Erm,basically thanks a lot for saving my bacon. If it wasn't for the amazing selection of goth piccies you have here, my final year dissertation ( a Gothic Multimedia magazine, based on the tiny unknown fanzine "The sky's gone out..."(original title huh?))would have been rather sparse and boring..... ( I did scan a lot myself, but your collection helped loads) The package I made is only a prototype at the mo' but if (big IF) I get a chance to finish it, I'd be interested in a bit of feedback, so I might send a few copies out. possibly. Alternatively, I may have to start dressing 'normal', dump the makeup, and get a normal job instead. errrrr, I don't think so somehow.

Thanks again for showing ppl that even if goth IS dead, we don't care because that's the whole point ;) Throb
