Thanks for the Goth page. I have been trying to tap into Heather Roses chat room but have been unable to so far. I live in Sacramento California where the only true gothic type club to go to is THE ASYLUM inside the RAGE building at 1890 Arden way in Sacramento. HELP>

I've always been of the opiniion that Trent Reznor is just making a cheezy attempt to rip off Joy Division. Look at the facts: Last true JD album:Closer Tone of said album:Not as guitar-based, greater emphasis on "neo-classical" textures than on previous work. e.g."The Eternal" Hit single from last NIN album:Closer Tone of said album:Not as guitar-based, greater emphasis on "neo-classical" textures than on previous work. e.g."Hurt" NIN submission to "The Crow" soundtrack:slavish "Dead Souls" cover.

Best Goth pick up line: You know, in Victorian literature, the word "die" was used with a double meaning. The first obvoiusly meaning to pass away. The second meant to have an orgasim. Would you be terribly offended if I were to say that I think that death would become you?

Really bad, I know. But I couln't help myself. Just wanted to leave evidence. . . --TSM

All I really have to say is that it is about time that someone realized that Gothic is not just the depressing side of every thing.. It is about loveing and no longer being able to love again. Because it was ripped out of your heart.

Zolon Farsane

The time has come, For those to show... That they have survived, And stayed low... When the sun goes down, It won't matter... Nopw don't frown, Meet the Mad Hatter... You know, The crazy one. He has a show, That will tickle your bone. As you watch, He will feast. Now for a touch, As you become a beast...

i've only been here a couple times before, i have to work to pay for this fun, but it's great to see a gothic thing going steady, seems to not have made it very far into the center of the u.s., this is st louis missouri, kinda the conservitive armpit of the u.s., anyways... i save notes on all the pages and sites i visit and spread the news to the few interrested parties who might ask. the danielle dax was a real surprise, most folks here never heard of her. i trade tapes and info and usually slide a cut or two by her in when ever possible. thanks for the chance to express and picts, they'll be put to bad use. ed

Got my 'puter (as Deathlok always called it) a few days ago and have been creeping all over the Web ever since in a (thus far) futile attempt to dig up info on Carl McCoy's new band The Nefilim. I would appreciate any and all information regarding his Carlness, if you can manage to post it or E-mail it to me. I have a bottleg of a concert in Germany in '94, and the new material is simply majestic.

Yrs. Most Cordially and Sincerely,

Brian J. Chris

I hadn't realized you moved, it has been so long since I last web surfed. I was just browsing James' page since I had yet to see it, and I found a reference to the net.goths, which I remembered as being yours, of course.

I would like to thank you for this compilation, every turn on this page brings me memories.

Also, at some point I would like to add the list of goth clubs from Pittsburgh and Philly, but I do not have the addresses on hand. As soon as I remember, tho, you will hear from me again (dread it). :)=

Indebted to your archive, Vampyra Daisy, aka Gwendolyn R. Schmidt
