Another thing, please cease and desist from using the old addresses for the
mailing list! (@andrew.cmu.edu) They are going away real soon now, and this
time I mean it. Mail to the old addresses will just bounce. If you know of
anywhere advertising the old addresses (other mailing lists, lists of lists,
et al.), please ask the maintainer to use the correct addresses. Also, please
send me a pointer to where the old address is listed so that I can ask them
to change as well. Use the correct addresses: <siouxsie@nine.org> and
<siouxsie-request@nine.org>.
To be quite honest, as much as I enjoy the music of Siouxsie and the Banshees,
and as much as I have enjoyed running this mailing list in the past, it is
just time for me to hand over the reins to someone else. I've already
contacted several folks who I thought might be interested in taking over the
mailing list from me, but none were foolish enough to volunteer. :-)
So here it is, if there is anyone out there who would like to take over the
list from me, and has the knowledge, experience and resources to do so, drop
me a line and we'll talk. If no one comes forward and wishes to do so, the
mailing list will most likely just cease to exist, since I can no logner
tolerate how bad a job I am doing with it lately, and realistically I don't
see myself having the time or energy to improve. It has been running this
list for the last 3 years, but I am just burnt out on it now.
