Hello. Enjoyed seeing your page. As an ex-goth band member, (ANCIENTS;drummer;NYC)I enjoyed the music info. Hard-core goths know (knew) us. Any of your members still hang-out in the East Village where it all began? Before the rest of American youth took OUR style/look and turned it into the twisted, lost and trendy identity it is today. "New" goths make me sick, actually. It's a lifestyle born for, and built in NYC. Let it die there with dignity. Please.

flowers flowers flowers!

Roses lilies daisies...dandelions I want to sell you flowers...flowers with tears still wet upon them...flowers from the tomb. What flowers could have more meaning than flowers given as a last gift to one who has passed to the world beyond? For a wedding, for a loved one, I will sell you flowers that have been sanctified by death. Originally intended to cover the stench of a dead body laying in state in a parlour, bright blossoms are now used to cover up the sadness. It is time to accept death for its own beauty. You can support this movement by buying flowers from us. Only $9,876,788,976.00, plus shipping and handling. Please don't make my life too difficult. I might decide to make your life difficult. I'm not really selling anything, I just wanted to say hi.

It's cool when it's dark out. I really like to go romp around town with my friends. No, wait, I don't really because my only friends are dead dudes. I relate to dead people and stuff. I wear black clothes because it is cool. I'm going to move to Britain so I can die. I wish I was a Vampire, because then people would think I was cool. I like Bauhaus. Um, I'm misunderstood. It's cool when it's really cloudy, but not when it rains because water ruins my expensive black clothing. Ankhs are really neat, don't ask me why, they are Egyptian or something. Although church isn't cool, Cathedrals are pretty neat. I normally don't like cute and fuzzy things, but I like Gizmo from _Gremlins_ because he doesn't like bright light. Anyway, enough about me, these are the lyrics to a song I wrote. This is a song I like to call Dank Vampires, in search of blood, coming soon to your neighborhood, Vampires, they'll drink your blood, I'd be a Vampire, if I could, CHORUS: And still I'd like to think I'm a vampire, I like to stay away from fire! OHHHHHhhhhhhVampiresVampiresOHHHHHHHhhhhhhhNightime and StuffOHHHHHHHHHHhhhhhVampiresVampiresOHHHHHHHhhhhh is blood enough. VERSE II: Don't you cry when you see my face, because it's merely white face paint, Vampires are coming soon! Black Candles and the moon. CHORUS. VERSE III: It was cool when the vampires came, there were lots of clouds and lots of rain, sunshine those days did lack, please beware VAMPIRE ATTACK!!!! CHORUS

That song is from a Goth band I'm in called Touch Ben. Watch for it, my nightime friends, you'll be HEARING much more of it in the future. Until then, see ya in the graveyard!

The Baron was born in the hills of Bavaria, recently resided in the heroin infested streets of the Lower East Side, and now makes his hunting ground in the shopping mall crowded suburbs of Rockland County. He likes the peace and quiet and the small furry animals to feed on, but is being driven insane by the corrosive ennui brought on by this place. Being of the gruesome coffin worm variety of vampire (i.e. Count Orlock in "Nosferatu"), as oppossed the pretty boy type of bloodsucker (i.e. Louis Point Du Lac), the Baron typically scares the living shit out of the locals. Whenvever he leaves his crypt to step out for some guacamole there are always Ordinary Fucking People who stare and gawk at him. He is beginning to wither and is seriously considering burying himself in the backyard and crashing for a century or two, there to dream of the day when he will rise and find himself to be the last man on earth... and Winona Ryder the last woman. "Slurp!"

Hello there. I just have to say that I love this! I am currently residing in Nebraska going to college here and it sucks! No scene at all. I came from Germany to this! Pity me. Oh well, atleast with this I can stay connected. Sorry about my rambling. It is just really great to find this. Thanks!

As keyboardist for "The New Creatures",(a goth band based here in NYC,I was excited to see your goth club listings. (Especially handy for preparing T.N.C. for a tour in 1996. However, I was a bit let down when trying to print out the listing without the actaul cities . (Maybe I'm doing something wrong?) The next time your'e in N.Y.C.,come visit a New Creatures show (Fri. Dec ! @ CBGB, Fri. Jan 19 @ Pyramid, or call The New Creatures hot line for T.N.C. catalog,(same # as above)

I have to say that the gothic trend is really spurting out in great gobs of blood in Salt Lake City , Utah. It is no longer looked down upon to be gothic(whatever that is) but it is an image a lot of people posess. But do they really know what it is like. I think I have always thought of "Gothic" as a state of mind. Now I am not saying that I haven't been through the wearing black, and wearing velvet, dying the hair black stages and other such stuff. I am just saying that Gothicism is not as appreciated here as is was before it was dememted and twisted around. If you want to know any more of my unbearable views or complaining email me. long, long ago, in a vampyre zone far away, you were at school and I was with the U.N./World Resources Inst. project and we all used to hang on alt.gothic... back when there were fewer than 100 posts a day, I remember how much I enjoyed your perspective on L.A. .

Now I'm doing IP Address allocation and inverse-addressing at the InterNIC. If you need to slam a domain name through "the system" call me at 703/742-4835 with your NIC number and I'll do it.

I've got vampyre.net... just need to get the ISDN back up at my S.O.'s... I'll send you the URL when it is up. -Akasha's Servant/Her Holiness the Dalai Lauren

GOTH WAS NOT EVEN HIP WHEN IT WAS HAPPENING AND THAT WAS 14 YEARS AGO EVERYONE (EXCEPT GOTHS) THINK OF THEM AS A COMPLETE JOKE. I SHOULD KNOW I WORKED AT THE BATCAVE.

THIS IS WHAT I`M LOOKING FOR; PLEASE HAVE A SEAT, IT`S A BIZARRE AND RARE RECORD, BUT I NEED TO FIND IT. THE BAND NAMED "CARMEN" HAS SPLIT UP LONG AGO. IT USED TO BE A ROCK GROUP FROM SPAIN, AND IN 1973, THEY RELEASED 2 ALBUMS; "FANDANGOS IN SPACE" AND THE OTHER ONE SIMPLY CALLED "CARMEN", REPRESENTING A PACK OF FRENCH "GITANE" CIGARETTES. ARE THERE ANY COPIES LEFT? DOES IT EXIST AS A C.D. VERSION? LET ME KNOW IF IT RINGS A BELL... THANKS!

I am the Angel of Death. You have yet to see me unless you have joined me in eternity. As I fly over the net I see this page and decide that the owners and most of the users shall live for another day or more! Darkness shall reign! Life is but a thorn on the rose of eternity, it draw life and yet shall draw blood. Watch for me and mail me with any comments. But BEWARE for I am out there watching for you.

I notice there is no "poison" concerning my kin, the mighty werewolves. Of course, I guess you don't like us, since you are of the nosferatu and all. We two powers have been separated too long. We are both part of the ancient. If we are not included, you're going to have a WAR on your hands!
