| Observations : | PLAGUE is Portland's only weekly goth/industrial night. The venue is the downstairs room of The Asylum. Capacity is about 100 people. Each night of PLAGUE features a local dj who is paired up with a dj from out of town - typically from MA/New England. The 9-10 slot is reserved for aspiring local djs to are looking to strut their stuff. The basic idea behind the night was to bring new music and ideas into Portland and to expand and encourage local participation. See http://www.gothicmaine.com for details. |

| Drinks : | Bottled beer is $3.50 and high-end cocktails go up to about $7. "Goth" type cocktails are inspired from Terri of Manray (Boston). The downstairs bar doesn't have a credit card machine so tabs must be opened upstairs in the sports bar. |
